What if it wasn't ADHD?

Were you ever afraid to get a negative diagnosis 😨 ?I receive many messages from people who are wondering if the have ADHD every day 😊They often tell me “What if they say it’s not ADHD ?” 🤷♀️If you get a negative ADHD diagnosis after an official assessment :- It doesn’t mean your struggles are not valid 😌- You need to keep looking for an explanation (ADHD symptoms can sometimes come from depression, anxiety, ASD, etc.) 🧐- If you don’t feel confortable with you diagnosis : it’s OK to ask for a second opinion ☺️💕 ! Many people (particularly with predominantly inattentive traits) were misdiagnosed once before they found a doctor who knew enough about ADHD to finally diagnose them
