Object permanence is the ability to know that objects continue to exist even though they are no longer be seen or heard
SOme people with ADHD tend to lack object permanence. For them things are "Out of sight, out of mind"
When you struggle with object permanence it can be hard to find something that's not in plain sight...
...Or to remember something that only exists in the digital world...
Lack of object permanence can also impact relationships. Like forgetting about people when we are not often in contact with them...
