having a hyperactive mind means that you can experience what we call racing thoughts very often
these numerous and quick thoughts can prevent you from falling asleep at night

or make you zone out during a conversation
if you also deal with anxiety, they can become anxious and instrusive thoughts that disrupt your everyday life
